Bread Pudding with Apples

Bread Pudding with Apples, Chef Wan.

Ingredients:
. 6 green apples
. 200g butter, softened
. 2tbsp sugar
. 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
. 2 French loaves
. 1/4 cup seedless raisins
. 4 eggs
. 4 cups milk (1 litre)
. 2/3 cup castor sugar
. 2tsp vanilla essence
. a pinch of nutmeg

Ok, basically this is the original ingredients from the cookbook. But, my version of bread pudding apple is just as simple it is.

My ingredients:
. couple of green apples
. 100g butter, softened
. 1tbsp sugar
. some normal bread (Gardenia will do)
. seedless raisins (up to you)
. 2 eggs
. 2 cups milk (just to cover up all breads and apples)
. some castor sugar (last one)
. 1tsp vanilla essence

How?
Cut the apples into cubes, it's nice to peel them off. But, I didn't. hahahah. Melt the butter, in hot frying pan, throw all the cubes apples, sprinkling with sugar. If you wanna put cinnamon ground, then put them now. hehe. Saute for about 10 minutes and stir them frequently.

Cut the bread into cubes, or just tore them apart, this is what I did. Put them in baking dish, with remaining butter, a bit lar, just to bake them together. Next, throw the raisins, apples and juices from the frying pan into the baking dish.

Ok, now the liquid part. Get a bowl, whisk the eggs, milk, sugar and vanilla essence. If you wanna put nutmeg, put them now! hehe. And again, throw them in the baking dish with the breads all.

Bake them in oven preheated 180 degree for 1 1/2 hours. But I think I bake just around 45 minutes. hkehkehke. :9

Kalau kenyang, simpan dalam fridge, you can eat them cool or hot.
Panaskan smula kalau nak hot hot.
